Alturas is a live audiovisual performance that investigates the concept of verticality in urban environments through real-time video manipulation and sonic exploration. The piece creates an immersive journey through multiple audiovisual layers, each representing different altitudes and perspectives of contemporary cityscapes.

Using dual projection techniques, the performance transforms architectural imagery into dynamic visual compositions that respond to live electronic music. The collaboration between Luis Negrón van Grieken's video artistry and Claudia Robles' sonic landscapes creates a dialogue between image and sound, where vertical movement becomes both a visual metaphor and a structural element.

The work explores themes of urban density, architectural aspiration, and the human relationship with constructed heights. Through layered video processing and spatial audio design, Alturas invites audiences to experience the city from multiple elevations simultaneously, revealing hidden patterns and rhythms within urban verticality.

Performed at Alte Feuerwache in Cologne, this piece represents a continuation of the Telefante collective's exploration of experimental audiovisual performance, combining technological innovation with poetic interpretation of urban space.
