Storytelling in Echtzeit

A live concert with sound artist Ivo Bol, performed on June 1st, 2026 within Storytelling in Echtzeit — a Live-Regie-Übung (live-direction exercise) at the Academy of Media Arts Cologne, taught by Marcel Kolvenbach and Gerrit Lucas.

Video, snare drum and electronics in real-time dialogue: the image is edited live, as it is told — storytelling not as montage after the fact but as direction in the moment, sound and picture negotiating the narrative as it unfolds.
