In "HONEY BUNNY - A hommage to Joseph Beuys" setzen sich Künstler*innen musikalisch, bildlich, installativ und sprachlich mit dem Werk des Künstlers Joseph Beuys auseinander.

Die Musiker*innen Hein, Muche, Rieko, Weitzel befassen sich mit den Ideen, Materialien und künstlerischen Strategien von Beuys, ohne dabei lediglich die Bildsprache von Beuys in Musik zu „übersetzen“. Vielmehr soll eine adäquate klangliche Auseinandersetzung mit dem Beuy‘schen Werk im Vordergrund stehen.

Die Reflexion in Form visueller Medien des Werks von Joseph Beuys spielt in den Arbeiten von Kerbaj und Schmitz eine wichtige Rolle. Sie transferieren Beuys'sche Motive und Metaphorik ganz im Sinne einer Hommage in ihrer eigenen ästhetischen visuellen Sprache in den Performanceraum.

Der international bekannte Sprecher Christian Reiner wird anhand der Texte/Vorträge von Beuys und dem philosophischen Sprachmaterial des Künstlers einen authentischen Zugang zu seiner Arbeit und seiner Philosophie entwickeln.
