With this exhibition project, the duo CocoLippo—consisting of Julia-Lena Lippoldt and Luis Negrón van Grieken—presents site-specific works that transcend spatial boundaries and engage in dialogue across multiple rooms.
The exhibition creates a dynamic juxtaposition where individual works communicate through gestures, intertwining, transforming, and expanding in relation to one another. Central to this exploration are questions of space, the complexity of conversation as confrontation, and themes of authorship, fragility, and the perspective of the other.
Drawing from their collaborative practice in video, sound, and installation, CocoLippo examines their relationship as an artist duo while investigating broader relational and political constructs. The physical space itself becomes part of the work—documented through 3D camera technology and transformed into a virtual reality environment, creating a bridge between physical and digital territories.

Das Duo CocoLippo, bestehend aus Julia-Lena Lippoldt und Luis Negrón van Grieken, präsentiert mit diesem Ausstellungsprojekt ortsspezifische Arbeiten, die räumliche Grenzen überschreiten und einen Dialog zwischen verschiedenen Räumen aufbauen.
Die Ausstellung schafft eine dynamische Gegenüberstellung, in der die einzelnen Werke durch Gesten miteinander kommunizieren, sich verflechten, transformieren und in Bezug zueinander erweitern. Im Zentrum dieser Erkundung stehen Fragen des Raumes, die Komplexität der Konversation als Konfrontation sowie Themen wie Autorenschaft, Fragilität und der Blick des/der Anderen.
Ausgehend von ihrer kollaborativen Praxis in Video, Klang und Installation untersucht CocoLippo ihre Beziehung als Künstlerduo und erforscht dabei breitere relationale und politische Konstruktionen. Der physische Raum selbst wird Teil der Arbeit—dokumentiert durch 3D-Kamera-Technologie und in eine Virtual-Reality-Umgebung transformiert, wodurch eine Brücke zwischen physischen und digitalen Territorien entsteht.
